Two year old shoes?? Are you riding a Huffy? Seriously, you are on the right track and it looks like your training is coming along. Here are some tips: If you don't already have it, buy The Triathletes Training Bible (http://www.amazon.com/Triathletes-Training-Bible-2nd/dp/1931382425/sr=1-1/qid=1161533427/ref=sr_1_1/002-0981181-0924069?ie=UTF8&s=books). Its full of good stuff, although lots of its for Ironmans, but its still useful. Also I'm sending you some material about running form. If you haven't already, have a video analysis of your running form. Its an eye opening experience, especially if you are a heel striker like me. I wish I did this before I started my training, but at least I have it for my next tri. I understand that underwater swimming video analysis is also good. I'm doing my first one next month. These are not only for competitive athletes, they're also good for anyone, like you and me, to make us more efficient and prevent injury. I hope you get hooked like I did. Its a great way to keep fit and fight off the monotony of the same old thing. We'll see if I'm able to to keep it up next year with junior on the way, but I'm certainly going to try. I've got my eyes set on the 'escape from Alcatraz' race in San Francisco. Maybe we can do it together next year? Anyone else want to join in?
